Straightening Teeth With
Clear Aligners

Step 1:

Consultation
with Dr. Kwong:

Dr. Kwong will conduct an examination at your complimentary consultation and determine if you’re a good candidate for Spark™ Clear Aligners or another option. Of course, we’ll go over all of the details from cost to treatment duration. Have questions? Fire away.

Step 2:

Create A
3D Image Of Your Teeth:

We’ll take a series of imprints or a scan of your mouth to create a digital, 3D model of your teeth. Using the model, Dr. Kwong will create a customized treatment plan that specifies the exact movements of your teeth. He’ll even be able to use the technology to show you a visual representation of how your smile will look at every stage of treatment.

Step 3:

Get Your
Custom Aligners:

The lab will create a series of custom aligners based on your individualized treatment plan. The aligners are made from clear, smooth, BPA-free plastic. You’ll wear your aligners for 20 to 22 hours per day and take them out to eat and brush and floss your teeth. Depending on how your teeth need to move, we may need to place some attachments to make their movement predictable.

Step 4:

Wear New Aligners
Every Two Weeks:

Every one to two weeks, you’ll begin wearing a new set of aligners, which will advance your teeth to the next stage of treatment. You’ll stop by for the occasional check-up about every eight weeks so Dr. Jeff can make sure your progress is on track.

Step 5:

Reveal Your
New Smile:

This is the big moment! You’ll take off your last set of aligners to unveil a healthy, gorgeous smile. The length of treatment varies by individual and it can run anywhere from six months to the same as traditional metal braces.
